  i agree that it's ok to come here and it's not unscriptural.. so, i'm confused.

  why would the watchtower organization, the faithful & discreet slave and its representatives, say witnesses shouldn't come onto sites like these?

  ok, im putting my neck on the line here but ive always believed that children should be raised to make their own choice, if to serve jah or not.. i wasnt ever forced to believe in anything, any religion etc, although my background is very complicated.. anyway, hubby and i have always thought that how can a child decide if they dont know what other things are, ie birthday partys, halloween etc.

  so, our children are allowed to choose if to go places etc.

  last year our little boy said he didnt want to go to a halloween party, this year he said he might.

  thanks ironhill, Jesus enjoyed his preaching work and loved kids....we are encouraged to be christlike and follow in his steps, thats all i try to do :)

  scotinsw, if they didnt want to go out then one of us would stay at home with them, my mums great too she would have them, but they havent ever said that although we always say "who would like to go on the ministry" and they scream"me me me" then we ask would they like to do 1st call or street witnessing, we make it fun,honestly having kids makes you remain a big kid too :)

  we dont teach our kids people will die if not told about Jah, we just enjoy talking about Jehovah. I dont give them mags to place either,we arent a magazine shop, they have a few tracts but usually they just chat and thats that. I dont go out to place mags either,cant be one of them sisters who has to place 9834789274823 mags a week lol...i just want to share the scriptures with people or talk in general, its nice to even find people who have a love for God.

  thats so cruel.....how can anyone claim to love Jesus and do that. no-one expects it though, i never expect to see sisters out with the kids, i dont expect kids to answer up either....if you force your kids you will end up pushing them away. I want our kids to always love us and to grow up saying they had a geat life, whatever it was they were doing, ministry, park,swimming,holidays abroad....kids are kids.

  Id go mad if i saw a kid being punished for that, no kid has ever told me they had to go out or answer...i feel sick now, really i do.

  But please can you see why somethings you say are alienated from me....ive never known this, also although some say things on here i clearly cannot believe what they say....but if you are being honest and i do believe you then im so sorry IA, honestly im sorry you were treated that way.

  IA if thats the honest truth then im so sorry....i cant believe that kids were made to go on the ministry..why? they are just kids.

  We take our kids everyother saturday, we have alternate saturdays where they dont go, we spend time with them or they go see friends,whatever they want to do, they are kids and we want them to be kids. Ive never seen anyone make their kids do the ministry...id be sickened by it.

  I find some things on here hard to believe because some people are clearly unwell..JB being one of them, saying im not a jw, or pioneer blah blah thats fine then saying i dont have kids, cant have kids, was bed bound last week (even though was at work) but it shows he isnt well so whatever he says i never ever believe....but are you being honest and not jesting?

  lol jb.....oneday you maywell be a dad yourself, I hope its when your well though. You arent well enough yet for you are too bitter and angry,not nice for kids to grow up in. Our kids are happy and they love Jah and the truth....please get well soon.

  Jb?? what?? yer they love the ministry and they love to talk about Jah, quite cute actually hearing them....

  If you ever have kids you will understand how a parent is happy to see their kids happy in whatever it is they are doing.
